My Ex-wife and I were still living

together peacefully while she had already filed for divorce. We were in a house that was foreclosing. This house was the target of one of those predatory loans with a negative 'A.R.M.,' and the bubble payment was due. I had told my Ex that we couldn't afford the house but she said I was naive and that we would refinance because, afterall, the housing market was just "going to go up."

The only thing or, in this case, individual going...was my Ex. I came home from work one day and she had taken everything and assumed residency in what was our second (original) home. She kicked out the tenant there and illegally assumed residency of community property. She filed an emergency order giving me only a couple of hours a week, long enough to take the kids to soccer practice. I had to immediately pay about $2,000 a month child support for our two children.

I had always been called a wonderful husband and father by both sides of the family but I dared to be upset when the judge lazily ruled that it's in the best interests of the kids that my Ex-wife get away with it all.

And there's much more here. Five years later, my kids are frequently running away from my their mother. That's the iceberg's tip.

This is how we treat a peaceful father? What's more important for working things out than our children??? These same pseudo intellectuals will cry about bullies in school while tearing away fathers and the important roles we fill in teaching things like "pick on someone your own size."

The nightmare I've gone through has changed my politics. Even my family throws me under the bus because they're afraid of a woman's wrath.

What a bunch of low lifes.
