Here is my story about my grandson Trent and my son Rick.
My daughter lied about Trent's paternity and custody was given to her boyfriend who wasn't the father. Rick, the father, loves his son. What's simply baffling is that it was proven through the Utah Courts that Rick is the father. My son-in-law and my daughter, Tiffany, were married in 2000 and had two older children. Trent was born in 2006. Dad and mom divoriced in 2007. Tiffany met Steven, (Kathy's son), and lived with him. Kathy is Steven mother. Somehow she concluded she was the step parental grandmother. She helped my daughter when she had Trent in June 2006. In 2007 Tiffany had to go to the hospital and Kathy took Trent as her own son. she told my daughter she would decide when she would give him back. She also told my daughter she got pregnant with Trent by Immaculate Conception. In about 2009, Steven was going to do the right thing and return the child to the right family. Kathy became upset and took her son to court to get step grand parents rights. She isn't a grandmother to Trent. She stole him in 2007 on her own until the Utah courts gave her custody in 2011...to a child that isn't even hers!
We want Trent to come home. We shouldn't have to keeping fighting to get back what is ours. Trent knows his family. If you look at the pictures on his f/b page, he knows all of his cousins. Trent has a brother, age 10, and a sister, age 12. Both miss him very much and want him to come home. Although the court ordered otherwise, Kathy will not allow either sibling to speak with Trent by phone. In a statement that certainly suggests she is not playing with a full deck, Kathy was alleged to have said to Trent that he cannot go to California to visit his brother and sister because the sharks will eat him. Who in their right mind tells this to a child?
This woman, Kathy, has no right to Trent. Like some modern day Hitler, she loves to control everyone. Her boyfriend signed the Birth Certificate. Trent, my grandson, has a false BC. One lie can ruin a whole family. If there is anyone who can help us bring him home, please contact us. The paternal family has no money to keep fighting her in the corrupt courts in Utah.
