My story is, I'm sure, the same as many. I have a wonderful daughter, age 8, that I have been battling for since she was 4. I have " Joint " custody with 6 days a month parenting time. I have been dealing with the court system now for 2 years with no help. I pay child support on time everytime but have been told that if I am ever late, I will spend 30 days in jail. I am a good father and have never committed a crime and have never been in jail but am treated like a criminal. I live in Florida, work my fingers to the bone to only see my daughter 6 days a month, while I pay my Ex $800, and while she works part time and sends my daughter to her parents' house on the weekends.. Yet I have to hear my daughter cry herself to sleep when she is with me since she's wishing for more time.. I am not only losing out on my daughter's childhood but so is she.
