"I love my kids more than I hate my ex."
I've  said  those  words  for  many  years  but  not  all
mothers/fathers hold true to loving their children more
than than themselves. In 2010, I watched two officers
take my stepdaughter away from my home. I was in
utter shock when I read the documents that were left
with us. Everyone in my home was in tears. My fiance's
Ex told the court she did not know where their daughter
was staying, that she felt my fiance would take their daughter
out of the country, and that he refused to return their child on a set date. It was all lies and the court stamped these papers telling her "We believe you". Our day in court was a nightmare. We could not submit anything showing we met on the drop off day, and the Ex told the court she was fearful for her life and her daughters. I still can't fathom how the judge allowed her to lie and wouldn't let us show facts. Allegations overrode facts.

We're still fighting in court. We haven't had her visit our home in four years. We're now asking to go to the Children's Justice Center to have every visit videotaped. I hope our horror will be over soon.
