NO CRIME, YET NO CONTACT
WITH HIS SON FOR 14 MONTHS

Sean's story....

It's been fourteen months since I have seen my son, Aidan, now thirteen years old. I had suggested a
private mediator to handle the inevitable divorce and all was fine until the last meeting, when we were
to sign the agreement  and come to a visitation schedule for Aidan.  My ex-wife backed out and went
with an attorney.  She sent my son to a therapist whom I specifically requested that she not use. The
therapist filed a CPS report.  An emergency screening was conducted and I was to have no contact with my son, no phone, email, letters, packages, nothing, for an indefinite period of time. I was exonerated of all physical abuse allegations yet psychological abuse was reported and the CPS evaluation found my wife was neglectful.  A psychological evaluation of my son determined that our family had been mis-served by the court and suggested our entire family undergo a full psychiatric evaluation.  A full psychological evaluation of our entire family was conducted and those findings were completely biased in favor of my wife.  I have filed objections to the report and the process is now becoming more visible since the judge realizes the pieces do not add up.  There has never been any regular visitation schedule with my son and we had one supevised visit back in the beginning of this ordeal while CPS was conducting their investigation.  I have not been charged with any crime, I have fulfilled the sixteen weeks of Parenting Without Violence classes and the co-parenting classes, and I have not been allowed to contact my son in fourteen months.
